looking-fly-on-a-dime-thrifty-threads-zara-maxi-skirt It's officially fall and while I may be rocking layers and chunky sweaters in a few weeks, for now I'm still hanging on to my summer threads. Well, with the addition of a fall wardrobe staple. During my Salvation Army thrift shopping trip two weeks ago {I shop on Wednesdays when most items are half off!}, I scored big! And a few of the pieces I bought included an embellished crop top from H&M and a sheer maxi skirt from Zara. They were the perfect pieces for my latest Thrifty Threads outfit.

Well, during my last Today Show appearance, I loved a dress so much, I went back to the store and bought it. While I gravitate towards bold prints and structured garments, sometimes it's the most basic pieces that have a huge impact. That's what happened with this H&M tank dress that was just $12.95. It goes with everything and has been in heavy rotation in my closet for the past two months.

That happened during my weekly visit to Target. I found the greatest short set of all time!!! Well, maybe not the greatest, but it's super cute and perfect for summer. Instead of wearing it as a set, I paired the shorts with a recent thrifted gem.

For a recent outfit I paired two of my thrift faves {Old Navy leather jacket and H&M fur collar} on a day that was chilly but not frigid. And I kept the thrift love going with a little black and white action. Mixing prints can be tricky, but I have an effortless solution for that!
