Last week I showed you the head-to-toe thrifted outfit I wore for a taping of the Oprah show but I went for a more casual look for my last day on the west coast. We wanted to soak up as much sun as possible so we spent the day chowing down {In-N-Out, Lala's, Porto's Bakery} thrift shopping and of course we had to head to Santa Monica. I knew we'd be out all day so I went for a look that could easily transform from casual to a bit more dressy with a quick shoe change.

{of course I had a pair of flats in my oversized bag}

Yesterday I gave you guys a sneak peek at the ruffled dress I wore to a taping of Oprah's post Oscars show in Los Angeles. Well, here's how I rocked a head to toe thrifted outfit.It was unusually chilly in LA for the few days I was there so I layered a cardigan over the dress to keep the chill away while we were in the Kodak Theatre and I threw on an asymmetrical leather jacket as we were waiting outside {in the cold} for about an hour before heading to the theatre.

I'm a serious thrift lover but it's rare that I wear my thirfted finds from head to toe {clothing, shoes and accessories}. However, I switched that up this week and showed my true thrifty nature. From head to toe, my outfit costs $8. Everything I wore was purchased from secondhand stores, minus my opaque tights {I don't buy thrifted under garments}.I had a meeting to attend where it was imperative I show my personal sense of style. I put together the things I love the most: wide belt, girly skirt and lace.

{i love a full skirt with tons of movement}
