Maybe it's the actual garment and sometimes it's your disbelief that a certain store carries such a cute piece. That's what happened when I went thrift shopping two weeks ago. I found this cobalt blue full midi skirt and fell in love. It was the color. The cut. The knee length split. And I was amazed to discover it was from Old Navy. Yes, Old Navy! I've never shopped at Old Navy {besides their dollar flip flops}, but I was surprised such a chic piece originated in their store.

You can wear any color you want during any time of the year. It's really all about the material, not the color. This week's Thrifty Threads post is an ode to the girls who wear what they want, when they want, like this head to toe white look that features a mix of thrifted pieces and cheap chic department store finds.
