Fresh, Affordable Picks for a Summer Party
Besides the holidays, spring marks the arrival of one of the biggest party seasons. Between weddings, graduations, cookouts and more, entertaining and prepping for guests is at an all time high. But the costs can be insane, especially if you want to really create a wow-worthy setting.
Last week I was in serious prep mode for my Ready, Set, Thrift! party {full recap coming soon} and I went to one of my fave places for cheap chic decorations: the dollar store!
With a little inspiration from the Caress® Emerald Rush™ Fresh Collection body wash, I knew exactly what I envisioned for my set up.

Fresh and Fabulous for Spring

I've been using Caress® since way back in the day when they were just in the oval-ish bar of soap. My grandma used the line exclusively and I remember loving the soap because it was pink! I couldn't wait to sleep over her house and take a bath with the super girly soap.

Fast forward years {many years!} later and Caress® has become way more than the pink soap, and one line in particular, the Emerald Rush™ Fresh Body Collection is perfect for the warmer months.

Beauty on a Dime: Dark and Lovely Au Natural collection When it comes to fashion, I know my stuff. But for all things hair and beauty, I have to admit that I'm a bit baffled. Though I've had natural hair for the past six years, I still find myself on the hunt for products that moisturize my super dry locs.

A few weeks ago I was invited to an event for the Dark and Lovely Anti-Breakage line, which has no alcohol, mineral oil, petrolatum, parabens and aims to fight damage and retain hair growth. I don't think I've used Dark and Lovely since my relaxed days, but I was curious. After trying the products for the past three weeks, I can confidently say I've found some new favorites.
