When and why did you start thrift shopping?  I started thrifting almost 2 years ago when a friend got me hooked on it. Now, I’m addicted. I continue to thrift for the great finds, prices and the thrill of the hunt. What three words would you use to describe your style? Simple. Practical. Classy
How did you style your outfit and what styling tips do you have? The styling tip I would offer is know what works best for you and finding inspiration through magazines, blogs or where ever. I like to invest in basic pieces that are classic and can be worn multiple times with multiple things.

My mom always had a flair for vintage things: clothing, furniture and especially handbags. I always felt that there was something special about giving new life to things that someone else wasn't using anymore. I still feel the same way now! What three words would you use to describe your style? Creative. Bold. Fly.

What I wore to fashion week, Loehmann's
I had a general idea of what I would wear during Fashion Week. When I know I have a lot of running around to do and when the temps are in the teens, I usually stick with my trusty skinny jeans and a few statement pieces. So I went for a mixture of new threads {studded top and neon and animal print shoes} from Loehmann's and some thrifted add-ons, like my Hudson jeans from the Housing Works Buy the Bag sale and vintage clip-on earrings.
But then the dilemma moved to what to wear over my outfit? A blah coat can totally ruin any look, but I knew exactly what I could rock for a standout style.

Last week was pretty big for me. I made my second appearance on the Today Show {my first appearance is here}.
My latest appearance was all about fashionable finds under $50. I picked my favorite pieces from department stores that packed major punch without putting a strain on your wallet.
If you missed the live segment, check out the video below as well as some behind the scenes shots and details on what I wore.
