A few weeks ago I went to the store opening of Spring Shoes at the Manhattan Mall in NYC. I had never heard of Spring, the more affordable sister company of Aldo but I was pleasantly surprised.Spring Shoes has everything you’d expect from Aldo: dressy and casual shoes for men and women and tons of accessories.The shoes varied from strappy stilettos to rocker chic boots and most are priced in the $40-$60 range. The line also has a full range of accessories, including handbags and jewelry.The company was kind enough to give everyone in attendance a $150 gift card, but the party was so full of bloggers and editors, I didn’t get a chance to try on the cute shoes {there weren’t enough employees on deck to accommodate us}. Sigh.However, I made my way back to the store this weekend to take advantage of the gift card (remember,  my Thrifty Threads 365 challenge only lets me indulge in new clothes or accessories if they’re courtesy of a gift). One of the runway shows I fell head over stilettos for last week was that of Christian Siriano {check out his complete Spring 2011 collection here}. I would wear Every. Single. Piece in his line.
