My schedule can be unpredictable but there are two things in life that are {usually} guaranteed on a Sunday: church and brunch. A relaxing brunch is the perfect way to unwind before beginning another work week.
This week I caught up with my friend Johara from Luvin’ My Curves and we decided to hit up Kitchenette in Tribeca. The restaurant’s known for its down home cooking.
I wanted a ladylike frock that was church appropriate but also comfy for the near 90 degree temps, so rocked the little white dress I recently picked up from the Salvation Army.
But first, let’s talk about the food, which was beyond amazing.
{strawberry sangria served in mason jars}
{i realllly enjoyed the sangria *hiccup*}
{johara had the lumberjack special with red velvet pancakes}
{i chowed down on the farmhouse special: eggs, bacon, biscuit, cheese grits and a side of strawberry butter}
{i managed to keep my pretty white dress free of food stains}
Breakdown:
Dress: thrifted for $7//Purse: Nine West//Shoes: DSW//Necklace and Bracelet: gifted//Ring: Urban Outfitters
Week 43 of my Thrifty Threads 365 challenge (a full year where I only buy second-hand clothing) is down. Only 9 more weeks to go!
Let me go walk that meal off…
