C. Wonder Opens a Flagship Store in NYC

If there’s one thing you need to know about me, it’s that I like bright colors. And I like prints. Well, I guess that’s two things. And because of those two facts, I’m a serious C. Wonder fan.

The store is the brainchild of Chris Burch {former husband of designer Tory Burch} and the brand first came to NYC last year when the SoHo location opened. And now, C. Wonder has a flagship store in the Time Warner Center.

I attended last week’s press preview and this new location did not disappoint. Bold, colorful and fun best describe the store.

C. Wonder necklaces, C. Wonder jewelry box My eyes immediately gravitated towards the accessories. The necklaces varied from dainty chains to clusters of pearls and colorful baubles. One room in the store is solely for accessories and it’s like you’ve stepped in to a life size jewelry box.

C. Wonder clothes

It’s now officially Fall and there was no shortage of pieces to update your style. The super-soft, terrier sweater was my favorite piece and staples like dark denim and button downs were in abundance.

In addition to clothes and accessories, the store is full of gift ideas and home decor. There’s a room devoted to monogramming items like mugs, cutting boards, stationary and these bright jewelry boxes. And the decorative animal plates would add a playful touch to any home. I love elephants and pugs so those plates will be coming home with me soon.

The new location is at 10 Columbus Circle, second floor. And of course you can check C. Wonder out online. This store may be my first stop once my Thrifty Threads 365 project is over.
