5 Reasons You Need These Thrift Shopping Totes

“I Don’t Pay Retail, I Thrift!”

It’s not just a phrase, but a lifestyle. After a hectic few weeks {trip to Belize and recent Today Show appearance}, my custom thrift shopping tote bags are finally ready for sale. And I’m confident you’re going to love them.

Here are five reasons you’ll want to get your hands on these limited edition bags.

Multi-Functional
My schedule can be a bit hectic, so when I have a free day or morning, I tend to run all of my errands at once. That means grocery bags, dry cleaning, a Target bag full of cat food for Chauncey, etc. So at any given time I can have 3-4 heavy bags. Um, they get a little tough to carry when you’re living in the city without a car. The tote makes it easy to just consolidate everything into one bag. This is perfect for a day of errands or when you just know you’ll be hitting up multiple stores and want to make the load as easy as possible to deal with.

Eco Chic
Speaking of those numerous plastic bags, they just aren’t good for the environment. That’s where the tote bag comes in. They’re reusable, washable and way cuter than any white plastic bag. And some stores will take a few cents off your bill when you bring your own bag. Win win!

Thrift Hands Free
You know how some thrift shops don’t have carts and your arms get exhausted from carrying your thrift store scores? The bag makes it easy to just throw your items inside. Throw the bag over your shoulder and your hands are free to leaf through the racks. When I visit warehouse thrift locations like Housing Works Buy the Bag, I used to bring a massive Ikea bag with me. Now, these thrift totes are all I need.

Sturdy
Though I’ve had the 100 percent cotton bags {15 inches in height, 20 inches wide and five inches deep} for more than two months, they’re just going on sale now and there’s a reason for that. And that’s because I’ve been testing them out. I wanted to be confident the totes are capable of carrying a heavy load and work in a variety of situations.

Free Chapter of My Book
For every tote bag ordered, you’ll get a free first chapter of my book, Looking Fly on a Dime: How to Find Fabulous Fashion at Any Thrift Shop. Yup, just forward a copy of your receipt and you’ll get a chapter of my thrift shopping guide that includes all of my tips to score vintage and designer finds at any secondhand store.

Starting this Saturday afternoon, you can buy the bags here.

Before Saturday’s sale, sign up for my newsletter and you’ll receive a promo code for 10 percent off. If you’re already a newsletter subbie, you’ll receive the special email with the code on Saturday afternoon.
