Duro Olowu is known for his heavily printed garments and that’s exactly what the U.K. based designer is bringing to JCPenney. The jcp line features the same tribal, checkered and chevron prints, but not the high end price tag associated with the designer’s usual line. With clothes, accessories and home items ranging from $10 to $100, this really is an affordable designer collaboration.
The collection hits stores on Friday and it’s right on time as prints are still going strong and quite a few pieces embrace the hot new color combo of black and white.

Mixing prints is super easy as long as the colors compliment one another, but if you’re someone who’s afraid of a busy print, don’t be discouraged. Pairing one of the tops with neutral pants or jeans would create a fun look. And accessories are always an effortless {and affordable!} way to inject a trend and the Duro collection features plenty of handbags to do so.

What I really love about this collection is that it has pieces for the woman who wants a sheath dress for the office, a girl who need an easy breezy maxi dress for a day of brunch and shopping or a summer wedding appropriate a-line dress.

The Duro Olowu for JCPenney collection launches on Friday, March 1 at JCPenney stores and online. And if you can’t wait to get your hands on the Duro line but want a piece of designer action, check out JCPenney for the Pearl by Georgina of Marchesa line. Tons of organza, ruffles and lace.
Is this a designer collaboration you plan to check out? What pieces do you have your eyes on?
