Decor on a Dime: Easy Ways to Revamp Your Bed

Let’s talk bedrooms, ladies! It’s a place to find your zen and unwind after a long day. Every queen deserves a special place for beauty sleep and creating one doesn’t have to cost a fortune. The bedroom often gets neglected because it’s not viewed by guests {I’m guilty of this too!}. Don’t use that as an excuse to skip decorating it.
Treat yourself with these inexpensive ideas to beautify your bed on a budget.
Hang Curtains Behind Your Bed
Don’t think you can achieve this gorgeous look? Think again! You can do this super achievable DIY with detailed instructions from Dwellings by DeVore.
Hang Symmetrical Photos
No headboard? No problem! A symmetrical photo design behind your bed creates a headboard illusion. Ikea has a great selection of large affordable frames and contemporary photos to mimic this look.
Paint with a Stencil
Lots of people paint a regular accent wall, but you can kick it up a notch with the use of stencils. There are loads to choose from across the internet from chandelier to nature designs. The one above is a great option from Cutting Edge Stencils on Etsy.
Make Throw Pillows {no sewing required!}
Aren’t decorative pillows expensive? Especially when you need lots of them for a plush look. But here’s some good news. You can make pillows without any sewing! Check out Live Love DIY to learn how to make the pretty pillows above.
I’m in love with each of these looks above and they can be done with minimal work and cash. If you try one of these projects {which I hope you will!}, be sure to share with us.
Does your bed need a face lift? Can you envision any of these ideas in your own home? Have you done any bed projects that missed this list? Sound off below!

    I love the first two looks! I’d probably go with the picture frames, though, as that project would be something I’m sure I can accomplish by myself lol I like keeping my bedroom pretty even if other people don’t really get to see it much. It’s mostly a treat for myself. Thanks for the ideas!
