18 Oct What’s In Store: Target Fall Style
Earlier this week I did what I normally do at least once a week: I went to Target! As expected, I found a ton of affordable fall options, including some stylish outerwear, bold accessories and even remnants of the latest designer collaboration.
I was really impressed with the variety of boots, luxe for less purses and I was amazed to find two racks full of Phillip Lim for Target pieces.
I decided to head right for the accessories and the Merona collection had some nice picks, including faux calf hair and printed crossbody purses. The oxblood color is still going pretty strong and if you need a bold hit of color, the options below are a must. A colorful purse is the quickest way to inject new life in to any wardrobe.
And it was clear that Target is the place to be if you need a pair {or two!} or tall boots.
Besides being super functional, I really love the flat, tall boot because of the variety and versatility. From a more rugged biker look to a sleek faux leather option with hardware, the flat boot is casual and chic. You’ll have no problem finding one with details like buckles, exposed zippers and studs. Oh, and they were running a sale so all tall boots were just $34.99.
Though I’m all about Target shoes and handbags, can you believe I’ve never purchased any jewelry from them? During this visit, there were several necklaces that caught my eye. Gold and dark gems make a major statement and turn the most blah top or dress in to a showstopper.
As for the clothes, I found what you’d expect: chunky knits, printed pants and skirts, fall outerwear and…Phillip Lim for Target!!! There wasn’t just one, but two racks of the designer collaboration that hit stores last month. And most of them, including the sequin dress and animal print frock, were on clearance. Check out my Instagram video of what I found from the Phillip Lim for Target line at the store in Jersey.
There’s always the need to have the latest designer collections as soon as they hit stores, but there’s nothing wrong with waiting until the pieces go on clearance…and they always do! It’s just a matter of finding a store that has some remaining pieces.
Have you done any fall shopping at Target yet? Do locations near you still have a few Phillip Lim pieces on the racks?
