27 Apr What’s In Store: Payless
Last weekend I dipped in to Payless to see what the budget chain shoe store had to offer. I’ve been impressed with their selection as of late, especially the designer collaborations, but it’s always nice to see everything up close. How do they feel? What’s the material like? Is the heel sturdy? See what I found!
If you’re a girl who wants added height without teetering in a stiletto, then you definitely want to check out the massive selection of wedges. American Eagle had options in a range of colors and patterns, from the nautical inspired to gingham.
{the bow and flower details add a girly touch}
I’m normally not a fan of sneakers but I couldn’t help but love the laceless ones from Airwalk. Less than $20 and in a bunch of patterns {denim, plaid, camo}, these would look great paired with cut offs and a loose tee when the weather warms up.
These perforated booties are so cute…and kinda similar to more expensive styles from Vince Camuto and Just Cavalli.
I’ve never seen this label, Z London, at Payless before but I love this pair of platform peep toes with a satin-y finish.
{$34.99 and they also come in black}
I didn’t see too many options from the designer collaborations with Isabel Toledo and Lela Rose but there were a few Christian Siriano shoes. I blogged a few months ago about how expensive the Payless designer collaborations have become {upwards of $60!}, so I was happy to see Siriano’s line was on sale.
{originally $60, these looked great up close and the details were amazing}
The hoops and dangly earrings didn’t offer much color, but they were under $10 and had some cute designs.
A full rack of sunglasses were on display. Aviators are flattering on most faces and the oversized frames came in a few different hues. I tend to stay away from “cheap” wire frames as they bend easily and a few pairs I tried on were already crooked.
All in all, I was happy with what I saw and tried on. Payless’ designer collaborations tend to get a lot of attention but the other options were pretty hot as well.

Posted at 16:29h, 27 AprilSo cute, yeah the booties are my favorite. I might have to check them out now that the Christian Siriano stuff is on sale. I also thought it was a bit much to spend $60 on a Payless shoe.
