12 Oct What’s In My Bag – On the Go Travel Must Haves
This post is sponsored by Dove and Simply Stylist. All opinions are my own {but you know that by now!}.
Sigh, I was supposed to be on a beach in the Bahamas, but Hurricane Matthew postponed that trip. However, being the anal retentive person I am, my bag was already packed a week ago. You know I’m the queen of the I-don’t-do-checked-bags!
And since I only do carry-on, that means every item in my bag has to count, especially when it comes to my beauty routine.
Maybe this is TMI, but if you follow me on Snap {PatriceJWill}, then you know I sweat a lot and I don’t like the heat {unless I’m on the beach!}. So a good deodorant is a must. That’s where Dove Advanced Care Antiperspirant comes in and is a lifesaver. In addition to the 48 hour protection against odor and wetness, it’s also formulated for smoother, softer skin. And if you shave often, then you know underarms can start to feel a bit rough!
I like the Shea Butter fragrance because it’s lightly scented without being too fragrance heavy. Other scents include Cool Essentials and Powder Soft. It goes on invisible, so no need to worry about leaving behind white residue on your skin.
Like I mentioned above, I’m not a fan of sweating {yeah, I know it’s good for you, but still!} but the antiperspirant really has kept me dry over the past few days. The stick formula fit perfectly in my carry-on makeup bag with other beauty essentials like a lightweight cleanser, moisturizer, sunscreen and a bit of concealer for a night out.
Remember the travel hack I shared a few weeks ago? I store liquids and creams like the aforementioned concealer, face wash and moisturizer in contact lens cases, instead of taking the bottle or even three ounce containers with me. This has saved me tons of space in my bag!
Do you have any travel hacks? What’s in your makeup or beauty bag when you travel?
