20 Jul Easy Steps to Create a Casual Chic Weekend Look
If you’re anything like me, your weekend style is fairly casual. I mean, I’m all for heels, but sometimes you need to give them a break!
In my latest YouTube video, I’m sharing quick style tips to maintain a comfortable, yet chic look for the weekend. You can ditch the sweatpants or leggings and still be comfy!
Whether you’re running errands, having drunk brunch with girls or going shopping, it’s all about wearing clothes that combine the two F’s: fashion and function! These are the items that make it easy to do whatever you have to do for the day, but they have interesting details like prints, color, etc.
Check out the short video below to see a few casual weekend wear tips.
Though the look in the video was super casual, I dressed it up for a night out. Instead of creating a totally new look, I kept the skirt {the star of the show!} and added a few fashion staples every woman has, like a cute top, nude heels and a bag big enough to hold your essentials. You can see more of this dressed up style {which was totally thrifted!} in my latest Thrifty Threads post. Be sure to subscribe to my YouTube channel for more videos and quick fashion tips. And if you have a suggestion for a video you’d like to see, just let me know!
How do you keep it cute and casual on the weekend? Do you have a go-to fashion formula that makes it easy to get dressed?

I don’t really have a special formula for my weekend outfits. I just like to keep it simple. And comfortable 🙂

Posted at 14:14h, 23 JulyMost weekends if I am heading out, slipping on a maxi dress and sandals is my go-to attire. Glad to see your thrifted looks and I read your eBook last year and as a matter of fact have it listed on my bloggingwithblake website. Hope all is well!
