As much as I love to dress up, I hate to admit that leggings are my go-to threads when I’m having a casual day. From black to brown to lime green, I have them in every color. They’re ultra comfy and pair well with a chunky sweater or layered shirts.

But leggings can also be kind of blah and boring. Or at least that’s what I thought until I came across a pair of Union Jack leggings.

It was love at first sight when I saw them online at Delia’s.

Like I stated, since leggings can be a bit casual, I dressed them up with bold blazer from ModDeals and G by Guess booties from TJ Maxx.

And I kept the Brit theme going with a Rolling Stones concert tee under my denim shirt.

When the temps dropped and the snow started coming down, I switched out my glitter booties for a pair of flat boots {last seen in this post} and my hooded, peplum coat from the Housing Works Buy the Bag sale.

So, leggings don’t have to be boring or a sign of lazy style.
