18 Jun Thrifty Threads
It’s Friday so that means another round of Thrifty Threads where I showcase my frugal fashion finds.
I went to a celebration for Tanqueray’s 200th anniversary and I wanted a look that was casual with dressy accents, which is my overall style. I decided to go with an all white ensemble and just spiff it up with accessories. I love “all black everything” but white just looks so crisp and fresh, perfect for a rooftop party.
The Banana Republic top and Prada bag were thrifted from Goodwill and Housing Works, respectively. I layered a trio of necklaces, bracelets and patent cheetah print peep toes. Oh, and I can’t forget the fedora. I never wear hats but this one has such a cool, yet bad *ss feel with the feather on the side.
Breakdown:
Hat: Strawberry, $8
Necklaces: flea markets and the crystal one was actually my grandmother’s, about $10
Shirt: Banana Republic, thrifted for $1
Purse: Prada, thrifted for $2 (via Housing Works warehouse sale)
Jeans: Strawberry, $15
Bracelets: don’t remember, but you know me, so I’m sure they were cheap
Shoes: Enzo Angiolini, $30 via De Janeiro in NYC
