Thrift Store Treasures – $1 Tribal Print Dress

Welcome back for another installment of Thrift Store Treasures. Last week I showed you my $1 peacock cocktail dress from Housing Works and this week I’ve got another beauty and she only cost $1. This tribal print number was originally a long skirt but after my tailor got a hold of it, it became my favorite summer dress.

One thing I really love about the Goodwill Outlet is that since clothing is priced at $1.69 per pound, you’ll rarely pay more than $1 for an item. I may have spent too much getting it alterated {$40}, but it was well worth it, as I had a unique garment that I rocked several ways.

Check out the quick video below for a closer look at this awesome piece, and I offer up a tip to make your next thrifting experience a bit easier.

I got so much good stuff! Mostly cardigans (Banana Republic, Free People, Theory)! I can never resist a cute cardigan… 2 skirts, a 100% cashmere Banana Republic sweater with tags still on it, a lace Calvin Klein leotard, a peach/tan pair of boots by Seychelles practically new for $2. I bought a total of 19 items today and spent $30.Loves it!
