If there's one item of clothing I wanted for spring, it was a jumpsuit. I envisioned myself rocking the one piece with a simple high heel sandal and floppy hat while enjoying an al fresco brunch. Yes, I clearly have a vivid imagination that revolves around my wardrobe.
I hit up the recently renovated
Goodwill on 23rd St. and just as I was heading out, I noticed a white garment grazing the floor. I wasn't sure what it was but once I took it off the rack, I realized it was a jumpsuit. Score for me! But then I thought there was no way my 5'2 frame would look good in this. However, I tried it on anyway and fell in love.
You ever feel like you were born in the wrong decade? That's how I felt when I found this gem of a jumpsuit. Why couldn't I wear this amazing garment to party at Studio 54?!Oh well, that era has passed, but I can still rock this cobalt blue jumpsuit now. And to think, I almost passed on this $5 beauty!
