Yesterday marked the official start of summer and there's no better time to clean out that closet of yours. While some people clean their closet every season, doing a revamp at the mid-way mark of the year is pretty important.
Freeing up your closet really helps you determine what you already have and ensure you wear the pieces you even forgot about. And more importantly, you finally ditch the garments and accessories that no longer serve their purpose.
Here are 5 easy ways to clean out your closet for summer.

Family-dollar-fashion-haul-family-dollar-just-be-collection-family-dollar-fashion-cheap-chic-review I love doing the What's In Store posts and showing you guys what cheap chic retailers are offering for the season. It's not just displaying pictures, but reviewing the quality of the material, pricing and sharing a few style tips. This week it's all about Family Dollar. If you've been following my Snapchat adventures or Instagram pics, then you know I've been wearing their new Just Be...line over the past few weeks. And let me tell you, I was pleasantly surprised.

I initially hit up Sears to see if they had any Kardashian Kollection pieces {the line's been discontinued}, but I didn't find any. However, I saw countless summer styles that I loved and even bought a few.If you haven't stepped foot in Sears in a while, you might change your mind after reading this.

Thrifty Threads 365 is a fashion challenge where I will only thrift shop for an entire year. I’ll show you how it’s easy and wallet friendly to satisfy your style needs with secondhand finds. For full details, check the original post here. Thrifty Threads 365: one dress, multiple waysThere's nothing I love more than wearing a single garment multiple ways. And that's exactly what I have with this printed dress. Well, it actually started out as a fishtail skirt {see the original post in 2010 when I had a tailor transform it from a skirt to a dress}. I immediately noticed the bold pattern when I saw it in a bin at the Goodwill Outlet. I wasn't feeling the skirt, but knew I could have a tailor convert it into a strapless dress. I've worn it as a dress and now I'm rocking it as a skirt with the addition of a t-shirt and belt {both thrifted!}.
