3 fall pieces to find at any thrift store, fall fashion
Fall is unofficially here and in addition to revamping and organizing your closet for the season, it's important to know a few key pieces that will serve you well this fall.
And instead of spending a ton of money, you can hit up your local thrift store. Every secondhand shop is different and the inventory is constantly changing, but the three wardrobe staples below can be purchased at any thrift shop and for women of any size.

what to wear to the beach

I hate to admit it, but I'm not a huge fan of summer. Though I'm a summer baby {born on July 1!}, the hotter temps make me pretty cranky. But one thing I do love is a weekend at the beach. The sand and the water is so relaxing and I really love any excuse to slip in to a bikini. But keeping cool and looking hot can be a bit difficult when it's unbearably hot.On days when the mercury rises {we just had a heatwave on the East Coast}, my motto is keep it simple and head to the beach.

Thriftspiration is a series that puts a spotlight on readers who share their secondhand shopping tips and fun ways to style thrifted finds.

When and why did you start thrift shopping?  I started thrifting almost 2 years ago when a friend got me hooked on it. Now, I’m addicted. I continue to thrift for the great finds, prices and the thrill of the hunt. What three words would you use to describe your style? Simple. Practical. Classy
How did you style your outfit and what styling tips do you have? The styling tip I would offer is know what works best for you and finding inspiration through magazines, blogs or where ever. I like to invest in basic pieces that are classic and can be worn multiple times with multiple things.

It ranges in sizes from 2 to 28W, so whether you're petite or plus, you can look your best. It's also available in 10 colors like blue ocean {above}, Florida mango and sassy yellow. how to mix prints, how to wear printsI constantly hear women say, "I could never wear that," and sometimes it's in regards to prints. I get it. Prints can be intimidating. They're busy. You never know what to wear them with and if not executed the right way, can look all wrong.

But let's ditch that thinking and settle this once and for all. You. Can. Mix. Prints.Depending on your style {casual, edgy, chic, etc.}, that determines how you'll want to wear them. Last week's Thriftspiration subject was Luna and one photo I absolutely loved {and which inspired this post} was her belted blazer over a mini dress. The two prints don't "match," but she stuck to rule numero uno for mixing prints.
