This weekend I trekked to Brooklyn for a little retail therapy at Beacon's Closet. I've heard of the store for years, but this was my first time visiting the shop where you can buy, sell and trade your used clothing and accessories.I was uber impressed on every level. The store was organized, clothes were affordable (most pieces were $11-$15) and the accessories were swoon-worthy.

Earlier this week I attended a rooftop party and wanted a look that was pretty simple but cute, which is always my goal when I get dressed! It’s been crazy hot on the east coast, so wearing a light weight fabric was a must.I chose a simple LBD and threw on some of my fave accessories from DSW. And of course I had to have a pair of dangly earrings.The leather bag with gold accents is my go-to purse. It’s gorgeous, looks way more expensive than it really...
