This weekend, I had the time of my life. Ok, maybe that was a bit dramatic but I did score some major goodies at the Salvation Army coat sale. Just look at my receipt above as proof. Five items for $36.53.I've posted about the sale before, where a variety of coats {furs, trenches, leathers, bombers, etc} are sold for about $20-$30. However, since this was the last sale of the season, prices were slashed even greater.

I braved the cold {stood outside for an hour, brr} and I'm so glad I did. The last item I grabbed is my absolute favorite of the bunch. I've been on the hunt for a fur vest for what seems like eons and I finally lucked out. There's no label inside, but it looks and feels like the real thing. $10

Last Sunday was pretty tame for me. I enjoyed an awesome service at church, made a hearty lunch and then I checked in to twitter and noticed Goodwill (@GoodwillNyNj) was having a 50 percent off sale at one of the locations near me. I had no intention of shopping on this lazy Sunday, but I felt like this was I sign. I had to drop off a donation anyway and the store was just 3 blocks from my house. I figured I'd just browse.Of course, that didn't happen. But this time something different happened. I walked away without a single item of clothing, but scored some other great stuff.

{the print and gold heel immediately caught my eye. $5}

{i love the sheer panels on the side of these BCBG heels. $5}

I let you guys in on my first Salvation Army trip where I racked up on quite a few items. I was amazed at all the great finds, and Wednesdays are Family Day where clothing and shoes are 50 percent off {yay}, so I had to make another quick visit. With the temps cooling down, I'm on the hunt for lightweight jackets and bold patterns to add to my existing wardrobe.Here's what I scored:

{say hello to my sequin vest, my new favorite item in my closet. Price: $3}

I don't know when it happened, but all of the sudden, I'm a huge Urban Outfitters fan. Though I love their items, they're a bit too expensive. However, last week the company had an amazing $5 sale. Select pieces (shoes, clothing, accessories, home items) were drastically reduced to $5 or less.My two-finger flower ring and rabbit ring was originally priced at $20 and $25, respectively.Check out the short video below to see the goods I purchased and the one tip I suggest to stay abreast of your favorite...
