Since my Thrifty Threads 365 challenge doesn't allow me to shop for any new clothing or accessories for a full year, I decided to make me own jewelry. I came across this awesome DIY project on Necole Bitchie by Blake Von D and I knew I had to give it a shot. It's easy and cost pennies to make.These earrings are great for the girl who wants a look that's completely unique. You can use a photo of a family memory, album, book, etc and turn it into a fly pair of earrings. I decided to use the covers of two of my favorite albums.

I had some left over trimmings from the DIY Bloggers Challenge and I felt inspired to make a pretty little creation. Bib necklaces were huge last season and they're still going strong. The statement making pieces are a great way to add flair to a plain tank or bare neckline. I used this Express necklace (above, left) as inspiration for my one of a kind piece.
