05 Apr Spring Thrift Store Haul {try on and lookbook}
It’s been forever since I did a thrift store haul. Like seriously, for-eva! That’s because I’ve been busy, but more importantly, I stopped thrifting for a while. After doing my mega closet clean out and purge, I became insanely picky about what I’d buy and add to my closet. That’s a good thing!
But once I felt the need to shop {versus simply wanting to!}, I hit up L Train Vintage in Brooklyn and found tons of goods. So of course I had to make a video dedicated to everything I found…including the most awesome vintage jacket I’m officially obsessed with.
First, if you’re not subscribed to my YouTube channel, go ahead and do so. I’ve already filmed a few videos and will be releasing more soon {including a denim cutoff DIY video}.
But this video is all about the cheap chic goods I found. Everything was $6-$8 and has tons of character. That’s why I love thrift shopping. It’s not just about finding something “cheap,” but for me it’s the thrill of unique and fascinating pieces.
The items I found range from mom jeans to a tuxedo style wrap dress to an ultra-80s leather fringe jacket.
Check the video out below or on my YouTube channel.
And of course for more thrift shopping tips, you can always download my book {you don’t need to have a Kindle to view it, you can read it via the free Kindle app}. Simply click the image below.

Posted at 23:41h, 09 AprilGreat video! I’ve just been doing a thrift store cleanse…my sight had become clouded with too much, rather than quality. But, your video has helped reawaken the beast…err passion. Time to go take another look and reassess. Thanks for your enthusiasm. Also, all vintage jackets of that caliber should have at least three names, a first a middle and a last!

I’ll report back when I have some names picked out for the awesome jacket 🙂
