I know so many people who still believe the outdated style advice that you can’t wear white after Labor Day. But we know that’s not true, right? Right! It’s never about what color you wear, it’s always about the material. White linen pants in the winter? No way! But white denim or a knit skirt? Yup. Here’s how I styled the white skirt I recently scored from Strawberry. I paired it with my cheap chic finds, including my thrifted Dior coat for a fun winter look.

Thrifty Threads 365 ended almost two months ago for me. Though I successfully gave up shopping for new clothes for an entire year, I was curious to see how I would adjust post-TT365. If you’ve been a steady Looking Fly on a Dime reader, then you probably know I love the combination of fur and leather. For a recent outfit I paired two of my thrift faves {Old Navy leather jacket and H&M fur collar} on a day that was chilly but not frigid.
