29 Aug Housing Works Best of Fall Thrift Sales

The end of summer usually means it’s time to update your wardrobe and swap your summer gear for fall fashion. But this time of year also means the beginning of Housing Works’ Best of Fall sales.

Yes, sales, plural. From August 30 to September 25, 12 Housing Works locations throughout NYC will have mega sales on thrifted and vintage clothing and even furniture and art. Each location will have a different sale date and time and entry is free-99.

If you’re a Housing Works member, you can access the sale up to an hour before it opens to the public. You’ll find a ton of seriously discounted designer pieces, including the Missoni knit dress below.

For a list of specific sale days and locations, check here. Not in NYC or can’t make the sale? Starting September 17, you can shop online. You can’t beat thrifting from the comfort of your living room!

These sales are a great way to stock up on fall essentials or grab a few designer goods, but at a discounted price. And all of the proceeds go toward the Housing Works mission to end homelessness and AIDS.
