03 Jun Follow My Fashion Adventures & Thrift Trips on Snapchat
Ok, I’m late to the party, but um, Snapchat is great. Now that I finally know how to use it {there’s a learning curve!}, it’s not just fun, but useful for the blog.
Of course I have Instagram, Facebook and Twitter where I share updates while I’m out shopping, but Snapchat is a bit different. I went thrifting last weekend and it was great to be able to show you guys the step by step process as it was happening.
If you’re unfamiliar with Snapchat, it’s a social medium that allows you to share quick clips and photos in real time. Once you view the content, it’s gone. It really gives you a peek into someone’s life and what they’re doing or feeling at the moment.
I write about thrift shopping recaps and thrift hauls, but there’s something more hands on about taking you guys along for the ride while I’m doing it. And that’s exactly what last weekend was like.
During my thrift shopping trip, I snapped the good {a slinky Perry Ellis dress}, the bad {a super short, darn near non-existent Nasty Gal romper}, a gown I just had to try on and there were some thrifting tips along the way. And I found this NWA tank top for just $1.
While I do my Thrifty Threads outfit posts, I use Snapchat to showcase outfits of the day, whether I’m keeping it cool and casual or glammed up.
If you’re on Snapchat, be sure to add me {PatriceJWill} so you can see my thrifting adventures, style tips, random tidbits and I even share career advice, like I did last night.
Are you on Snapchat? Who are your favorite snappers {is that what it’s called?!} to follow? What do you want to see me Snapchat?
