24 Sep Thrifty Threads: Summer to Fall Style
It’s officially fall and while I may be rocking layers and chunky sweaters in a few weeks, for now I’m still hanging on to my summer threads. Well, with the addition of a fall wardrobe staple.
During my Salvation Army thrift shopping trip two weeks ago {I shop on Wednesdays when most items are half off!}, I scored big! And a few of the pieces I bought included an embellished crop top from H&M and a sheer maxi skirt from Zara. They were the perfect pieces for my latest Thrifty Threads outfit.
To add a bit of warmth, I threw on my old denim jacket I’ve had for years. No exaggeration, I thrifted this jacket at least a decade ago. There’s just something about a well worn denim jacket that gets better with time.
This is such a simple, easy look but it’s all about the little elements. From the maxi that moves with the breeze to the sparkles of the crop top to the cutesy cat ears hat, it’s just fun!
And I can’t forget the colorblock ShoeDazzle bag I received earlier this year. It’s just the right element to keep the all black look from being too harsh. And a few bracelets round out the accessories.
What’s the last item you thrifted? Do you have a go-to look that combines summer and fall fashion?
