03 Jun Dime Find of the Week: Tees in the Trap T-Shirt
What: Tees in the Trap pop culture t-shirts
Why: A little known secret: I’m a pop culture junky. Well, it’s not much of a secret to anyone who knows me and even if you follow me on Twitter, you know I love tweeting my trashy reality TV shows {hello, Catfish and Love and Hip Hop Atlanta!}. So I was stoked when Claire over at Fashion Bomb posted about Tees in the Trap. The affordable t-shirts are a must for any pop culture lover.
What initially attracted me was the “Fix It, Jesus” tees. I’m obsessed with #RHOA and Miss Phaedra Parks is my absolute fave, so this shirt literally made me LOL.
There’s no shortage of other pop culture-related shirts for $30.
And if you’re uncertain of where the phrases originate from, each tee comes with short background info. “Bye, Felecia originates from the 1995 film “Friday” starring Ice Cube and Chris Tucker. The term is used in response to someone who’s comments and presence has become irrelevant.”
In addition to pop culture tees, they also include a Grown & Sexy line, Quotables and King B collection.
Where: Tees in the Trap t-shirts, $30-$35. If you need a little styling help with rocking the tees, the site even has some outfit inspiration!
