07 Oct Fall Footwear with David Bromstad for Naturalizer
There are a few things I love: leopard print, shoes and HGTV. So when I heard that designer, HGTV personality and cutie David Bromstad had a line of footwear with Naturalizer, I was all in! Last week I attended a luncheon for a launch of the fall collection. Every piece looked amazing and David is the best…and much taller in person.
If you’re looking for some fall footwear, you’ll want to check out Bromstad for Naturalizer.
Some people feel animal print, specifically leopard, can be tricky to pull off, but it’s actually a neutral that goes with anything! Seriously, you can wear it the same way you wear black. David’s Naturalizer collection is full of zebra print, leopard and other animalistic accents without being too over the top.
Naturalizer was nice enough to send me a pair of the Tanya booties to wear to the event. It was clear this shoe is a star of the collection as most of the women at the lunch had selected this shoe. It’s a pretty simply bootie with a low heel, but the leopard animal hair really makes it stand out.
You’ve heard of a selfie, but I had to take a “shoefie” of these booties that are going to be a fall favorite.
Before the lunch started {halibut with black truffles and a brioche poached egg and sticky-toffee pudding with pecan ice cream and figs}, I had to get a pic with the man himself, David Bromstad. I could tell he really loves this collection which combines style and the comfort Naturalizer is known for. I normally think of “comfortable” shoes as being frumpy and boring, but that’s not always true.
After feeding my food and fashion fix, I had coffee with Faye from Fashion Hound. She’s an on-air personality and thrifting guru from Australia. Basically, she’s my counterpart from the land down under! Our coffee date turned into a few hours of talking and snapping pics! She was kind enough to take the photos below of my outfit that I wore with the David Bromstad for Naturalizer booties.
Besides the boots, my entire look was thrifted: dress was from the Salvation Army and my necklace is from Housing Works.
Sometimes you just want to keep it simple {LBD} but fun {colorful necklace and funky shoes}! You can check out the full David Bromstad for Naturalizer collection here. The line isn’t just shoes, but scarves and handbags as well.
