They're actually a nice departure from the skinnies. And last month I found a perfect pair.Like most women, I kinda hate shopping for jeans. My dilemma is they're too long and/or I have gaping at the waist. But whether you're a size 2 or 20, it just seems difficult to find the one.But these Denizen bootcut jeans from Target fit perfectly. No tailoring needed and less than $30!

Maybe it's the actual garment and sometimes it's your disbelief that a certain store carries such a cute piece.That's what happened when I went thrift shopping two weeks ago. I found this cobalt blue full midi skirt and fell in love. It was the color. The cut. The knee length split. And I was amazed to discover it was from Old Navy. Yes, Old Navy! I've never shopped at Old Navy {besides their dollar flip flops}, but I was surprised such a chic piece originated in their store.

looking-fly-on-a-dime-thrifty-threads-zara-maxi-skirt It's officially fall and while I may be rocking layers and chunky sweaters in a few weeks, for now I'm still hanging on to my summer threads. Well, with the addition of a fall wardrobe staple.During my Salvation Army thrift shopping trip two weeks ago {I shop on Wednesdays when most items are half off!}, I scored big! And a few of the pieces I bought included an embellished crop top from H&M and a sheer maxi skirt from Zara. They were the perfect pieces for my latest Thrifty Threads outfit.
