While we all know that mixing prints is easy to do {just have at least one cohesive color in both patterns}, there's another way to have fun by mixing and matching. Wearing the same print in different hues can amp up any look. That can mean red polka dots with black polka dots or blue stripes with orange stripes. For my latest thrifty threads look, I went with plaid on plaid.

Oh, and the entire look is thrifted from head to toe and less than $20.

When I see how much shirts, pants, dresses and especially shoes cost at department stores, I get major sticker shock. Like, I literally recoil and gasp.Thrift shopping has made me cheap!

My Thrifty Threads 365 challenge is 10 months down with two more months to go.For all of 2014, I've solely relied on clothes and accessories from the thrift shop. I haven't spent a single penny on new threads. Oh, and I have a $50 thrift shopping budget each month.
