The Project Runway winner just debuted his Holiday 2009 collection for the discount shoe retailer. I previously posted about his fall collection for Payless and how I was less than impressed and I kinda feel the same way about the holiday line. Maybe I was expecting more from the fierce divo, but I do love the black and gold Carolina pump for $34.99. The back zipper is oh so sexy and fly. I might just have to cop them this weekend. Ah, the sight of a well dressed man makes my heart smile. Well put together, clean cut and just FLY. Last week Gilt, the exclusive online sample sale, launched an endeavor just for the fellas, Gilt Man. Gilt has always offered designer duds for men but this latest addition goes a bit further with athletic wear, gadgets and other guy stuff. The new site's described as "a hardware store selling the tools for life: workware, playware, lifeware." Sounds good to me!Click here to join....

My love affair of thrifting began as a sophomore in college. I had an induction ceremony to attend but nothing to wear and an empty wallet. I hit up a local thrift store in Philly and an hour later I walked out with a $5 ensemble. After that moment, I realized thrift stores weren't just for a pair of jeans, but for any occasion, from casual to cocktail.Here are a few of my favorite looks (all of the pieces are $2 or less):Look2 I'd wear this grocery shopping or to the airport. I love surfing the net and stumbling upon cool stuff. While reading Brokelyn, one of my new fave sites, I came across an article on Fox's, a discount designer store in Brooklyn. According to the article, the store has Tracy Reese, Rebecca Taylor and other designer items with recession friendly price tags, like a $39 Marc Jacobs blazer. Also, everything is 10% off from 10am to noon and fresh deliveries are made every day at 11am.Needless to say, I'll be making my way to Fox's next week and...
