It's Friday so that means another round of Thrifty Threads where I showcase my frugal fashion finds.I went to a celebration for Tanqueray's 200th anniversary and I wanted a look that was casual with dressy accents, which is my overall style. I decided to go with an all white ensemble and just spiff it up with accessories. I love "all black everything" but white just looks so crisp and fresh, perfect for a rooftop party. The Banana Republic top and Prada bag were thrifted from Goodwill and Housing Works,...

While walking around the upper east side yesterday, I made paid an impromptu visit to Payless. I knew I wouldn't be buying anything but I can never pass up an opportunity to look at shoes. And boy am I glad I made this little pit stop.I'm not much of a flats girl, but I loved these American Eagle flats. At $19.99 each, the bright hues, ruffles and flowers are super girly and would look great with skinny jeans or a romper.

My favorite pair had to be these Alice+Olivia for Payless pumps. Dainty bow, satin peep toe and platform heel, what's not to love? And of course I had to try them on. They were pretty comfy and only $39.99.

Fashionistas, it's here. If you're not familiar with Nordstrom Rack, all you need to know is it's the discounted version of the mega department store. And last week, Rack opened its doors in New York City. The outlet has designer items (shoes, apparel and accessories) at up to 70 percent off retail prices.I stopped in and immediately made my way to the shoe department and was impressed with the prices and selections. Tons of Michael Kors, L.A.M.B. and Badgley Mischka. I don't think I came across a shoe that was more than $199, most were in the $100-$150 range.

This store may become a serious addiction for me. I hate outlet stores that claim "brands too hot to name" and then the selection is blah. But Rack lives up to the hype.
