I have a confession: I don’t love online shopping. I’m more of an in-store shopper. I like to touch and feel and more importantly, try things on so I know if the sizing is just right. Returns are just such a hassle.Every now and then I’ll find some online winners, like the cute swimsuits from my Zaful haul. But there can also be some misses, like my shopping review for Wish.com. Again, there are always hits and misses, so I prefer shopping in person.But if there’s one site I’ve consistently shopped from, it has to be Amazon. I usually buy last minute random things {gotta love that Prime shipping!}, but when it comes to clothes, I haven’t always been so quick to add items to my cart. There was this killer $7 off the shoulder dress I purchased two years ago and recently I made another purchase.It’s a basic garment, but a winner. Like, I love it so much I’m ordering more colors.

Have you ever seen a brand’s ads pop up in your Facebook feed and you say to yourself, “oh, that’s cute!”? That’s how I felt when I saw Facebook ads for Zaful for the millionth time. I didn’t really know much about the retailer other than they sell trendy stuff at affordable prices and they always seem to have a sale going on.Sounds great, right? But shops like that can be hit or miss when it comes to quality. I knew this probably wouldn’t be the place I'd purchase a winter coat, but since I needed a few swimsuits for summer vacations, I figured I’d give Zaful a try.For $44 I scored four suits. It happened gradually. Well, gradually as in a year or two. First it was a snug fit here. Then a ripped zipper there. I was gaining weight.Before I get into this post, I want to make a few things clear: gaining weight isn't a horrible thing. I'm also not fishing for compliments. But this post is about something real. A question that many women can face. How do you dress when you find yourself suddenly gaining weight and feeling less than comfortable in your existing clothes?I can honestly answer that because it's been happening to me for the past year or so.
