A year ago today, January 1, 2014, I pledged to only thrift shop for clothes and accessories for an entire year. Sometimes it was easy and other times I really struggled to stay on budget and not hit a department stores. See below for a tally of how much I spent on clothes and accessories throughout 2014, some of my favorite pieces I bought and what I learned.

beauty-on-a-dime-olay-regenerist-luminious-facial-oil I'll let you in on a little secret: I've suffered from oily, acne prone skin for as long as I can remember. I mean, my skin isn't horrible, but I constantly envy women who have breakout-free, glowing skin. From dermatologist prescribed antibiotics {I'm so not with taking meds unless I absolutely have to!} to harsh chemicals {ouch!}, I've tried it all to combat breakouts and maintain a healthy glow, which is really important when I'm appearing on television. HDTV, yikes! But what's finally helped me achieve {mostly!} blemish-free and healthy skin is the most basic, and shall I emphasize, affordable products! I joined force with Olay to bring you a few must haves for fresh skin.
