looking-fly-on-a-dime-thrifty-threads-boot-cut-jeans-denizen-jeans I'm a skinny jean lover, so I was a bit surprised when bootcut jeans started to trend. But, I'm here for them! They're actually a nice departure from the skinnies. And last month I found a perfect pair. Like most women, I kinda hate shopping for jeans. My dilemma is they're too long and/or I have gaping at the waist. But whether you're a size 2 or 20, it just seems difficult to find the one. But these Denizen bootcut jeans from Target fit perfectly. No tailoring needed and less than $30!

You've already seen how I styled a few of the pieces {like yesterday's Old Navy skirt and last week's sheer black maxi from Zara}. But here are the other items I found during my recent trip to the Salvation Army, including a statement making LBD, chunky fall sweaters and vintage gems for less than $10.

looking-fly-on-a-dime-thrifty-threads-midi-skirt-with-a-split Sometimes you find a garment that just blows you away. Maybe it's the actual garment and sometimes it's your disbelief that a certain store carries such a cute piece. That's what happened when I went thrift shopping two weeks ago. I found this cobalt blue full midi skirt and fell in love. It was the color. The cut. The knee length split. And I was amazed to discover it was from Old Navy. Yes, Old Navy! I've never shopped at Old Navy {besides their dollar flip flops}, but I was surprised such a chic piece originated in their store.
