Are you guys familiar with AllRecipes.com? I stumbled across the site a few weeks ago and I'm so glad I did. They have easy recipes for every meal to satisfy every palate. This weekend I made a Curry Chicken Club, based off of All Recipe's Cajun Chicken Club. It's basically a chicken club sandwich but with a bit more flavor added to the chicken.I wanted a healthy side dish, so I included some bok choy with mushrooms.

Last week I was seriously craving Mexican food and remembered my old stomping grounds of Astoria, Queens (that’s where I first lived when I moved to NY). At El Cafetal, the food is cheap, good and cheap! The taco meals are all under $10 and keep you full for hours.

{3 steak tacos and rice and beans, $8.50}

If you’re ever in the area you should definitely check it out for some cheap eats. What’s even better is the restaurant is right next to a thrift store, The Second Best Thrift Shop, that has tons of great furniture.

Last week I received something pretty awesome in the mail: Sephora Chic Prints for Nails. I ordered them on Tuesday and by Thursday they were in my hands.If you're not familiar with Chic Prints, they're Sephora's new nail decals that come in funky prints and patterns. You simply peel them off and apply over your nails. They're the frugal gal's version of Minx. And Minx actually has a hand in creating Chic Prints.At $15 per pack, you get 16 press-ons of varying sizes. And they come in eight different patterns (checkers, tiger, skulls, etc), so it was a no brainer for me to try them.

Though I loved the initial outcome, I had one major gripe...Click more to see the pros and cons of Chic Prints.

For this week's thrifty threads I wanted a look that was fairly basic (black skirt*) with a pop of color. I found the skirt during my last Goodwill venture. The lilac top is from Gap's Superfine collection and ultra soft. Though I'm not a huge fan of purple, the cut out sandals by Miss Me are one of the faves in my closet. I kept the accessories rather simple by layering necklaces and dressing my wrists with a chunky bangle and pearls. Breakdown: Top: Gap, $1, thrifted Skirt: H&M, $1, thrifted Shoes:...
