How I Broke a Travel “Rule” and Saved Over $400 on a Flight I'm going to the Bahamas!!! Ok, sorry for the exclamation points. But I'm super excited. It's a belated birthday trip, blogiversary celebration and girlfriends getaway all in one.

Initially I delayed booking the flight because I refused to pay $500 for one way. Yikes! But being flexible by one day, I was able to save almost $500. And all because I broke a travel “rule.”
