A few weeks ago was my last thrift shopping tour at the Goodwill Outlet and surprisingly, I walked away with just as many accessories as clothes. These weren't just any accessories, but there were a few vintage gems. And at $1.69 per pound, they were serious scores. I only found a handful of cute clothes, but it turns out the accessories were more valuable {when it comes to styling}.

what to wear to the beach

I hate to admit it, but I'm not a huge fan of summer. Though I'm a summer baby {born on July 1!}, the hotter temps make me pretty cranky. But one thing I do love is a weekend at the beach. The sand and the water is so relaxing and I really love any excuse to slip in to a bikini. But keeping cool and looking hot can be a bit difficult when it's unbearably hot. On days when the mercury rises {we just had a heatwave on the East Coast}, my motto is keep it simple and head to the beach.

Affordable healthy food, Target cheap eats
I love Target. That's not a surprise. From their clothes to being obsessed with their infamous dollar bins, I always walk out of the store with something amazing. And I'm really fortunate that my local Target has a grocery section. This has become my go-to spot when I need some last minute items for dinner or a light bite.
And though I tend to find myself in the ice cream aisle {I'm obsessed with Talenti's sea salt caramel gelato!}, the store is stocked full of fresh, healthy eats.
People often say eating healthy strains the purse straps and it can depending on where you shop, but during a recent Target visit, I racked up on four bags worth of healthy and wallet friendly food.

I've done quite a few posts on the do's and don'ts of thrifting {check out thrift shopping 101 and 10 Thrift Commandments}, but I've never really done anything on thrift etiquette. Well, after this weekend, I had to change that. For the past decade, I've been a serious secondhand shopper and I've seen a lot of things, but I'm noticing people are becoming increasingly aggressive and some are just jerks.
