The end of year is always crunch time for me. This is when I look back at what I accomplished in 2013 and what goals I plan to crush in 2014. Well, that's where you come in. Yes, you.
As Looking Fly on a Dime continues to grow, I'm adding more content {I currently post three times a week, but want to up that to every day}, hosting more style segments {assistance with styling is needed} and upping the outfit posts {I'm in desperate need of a photographer}. So this is why I need help from fellow creatives.

Yes, you can {and should!} wear white this winter season. It's crisp, clean and has an automatic chic-ness to it. Of course it's all about the material. White linen pants would be a no-no in winter, but a sharp white/cream/off white coat is a definite yes.

Winter is rearing her frigid, ugly head so that means it's time for me to whip out my trusty fur collar Zara coat I scored from Housing Works Buy the Bag. As it turned out, my entire look {minus the gloves and tights} was thrifted and head to toe cost less than $25.

Where can you normally find me on a Wednesday? The Salvation Army {46th Street between 10th and 11th Avenues}! Most of the clothes and accessories are 50 percent off on Wednesday so you can seriously rack up. On my last Salvation Army haul, I spent $85 and found more than a dozen goodies. Well, this time around I spend less than 10 bucks but walked away with three fun pieces, including a pair of booties, a French Connection dress and vintage frock.

With just three weeks until Christmas, it's time to seriously start buying your holiday gifts. You probably have your list of who you need to shop for, but now the problem is what to actually buy! Some gifts are tricky {especially if a size is involved}, but you really can't go wrong with beauty products.
I love the idea of not just giving someone a single beauty-ful gift, but more like a series of them. Putting together a beauty basket of useful products is easy, affordable and sure to make the recipient feel special.

If you're not new to Looking Fly on a Dime, then you may remember my Thrifty Threads 365 challenge. And if you're not familiar, let me give you a quick refresher...
Thrifty Threads 365 was a year long thrift shopping challenge I originally started in September 2010. I only purchased secondhand clothing for 365 days {the only new clothing I could buy was undergarments}. Well, I successfully completed two separate cycles of Thrifty Threads 365 {first in September 2010-September 2011 and then October 2011-October 2012}. Both times I shopped thrift and vintage shops and the last time, I even stuck to a $50/month budget. I ended up spending just $460 on clothing for 2012.
Well, I'm thinking of starting Thrifty Threads 365 up again...
