My Today Show Style Segment + the Romper You’ve Been Asking About

Last week I made my third appearance on the Today Show, but it was my first time appearing alongside Kathie Lee and Hoda. I always love their energy and was excited to stand alongside this duo.

And anytime I can combine two loves {fashion and travel}, it’s always a good thing! This particular segment was all about jet setting in style and travel hacks {similar to my how to pack a carry-on post}.

From convertible fashion and accessories to the must haves that make your flight as comfortable as possible, I shared the affordable items you absolutely need. If you missed the segment, check it out {and some behind the scenes photos!} below. Also, I’m sharing details on the romper I wore, since I received so many requests!

My four models showcased day to night looks that you can purchase from affordable retailers like H&M, American Apparel and even Family Dollar! Yes, a clutch I showed was just 5 bucks from Family Dollar.

It was hard for me to pick a favorite piece from the segment, but I loved the $13 H&M tank dress so much that I bought it. It’s a basic, yet versatile garment that my closet absolutely needed.  So expect to see an outfit post pretty soon.

I have to say, I never ever expected to get the feedback and inquiries in regard to the romper I wore. What I wear is usually an afterthought {so much time is devoted to the models’ looks!}, but everyone seemed to adore the BCBG romper I rocked. It was colorful, comfortable and fit right in with the jet set segment.

As stated, the romper is BCBG, so it’s not cheap, but you can get it here. And me being the person I am, I had to throw in something thrifted. This time around it was my $13 pair of Michael Kors heels from the Salvation Army. Don’t you just love mixing high and low!?

If you ever wondered what to wear to the airport or how to take your travel look from day to night, check out the segment below.

What was your favorite piece from the segment? Do you have any tips that help you jet set in style and on a dime? What are your travel hacks that anyone can do?

Because my daughter loves to travel but has yet to venture with international travel, these tips that you posted, 5 Ways to Jet Set Internationaly (on a dime) are fantastic! Traveling internationally is the next step for her and I know these tips will come in handy, especially the idea about having an online savings account. I know this will help tremendously.
