Last week was pretty big for me. I made my second appearance on the Today Show {my first appearance is here}.
My latest appearance was all about fashionable finds under $50. I picked my favorite pieces from department stores that packed major punch without putting a strain on your wallet.
If you missed the live segment, check out the video below as well as some behind the scenes shots and details on what I wore.
As soon as I arrived at Studio 1A, it was time for makeup and before I knew it, an NBC page told me I had six minutes to get dressed and head upstairs. I stepped in to my clothes and narrowed down my accessories.
Liz from Frugal Finds NYC was kind enough to loan me some accessories and I went with the Cuban Link 5 Chain Tier necklace {$29.99}, YSL-inspired Somewhere Over the Rainbow ring {$12.99, available in black, pink, white and green} and Givenchy inspired bangle {$15} and Beaded Wrist Drama bracelets {$13.99}. The jewelry looked great when paired with my outfit and lime green “I’m Nobody’s Housewife” polish from LiSi Cosmetics.
The super sweet Natalie Morales was my anchor and we started talking fashion.
I loved this pair of floral, brocade shorts from Kohl’s {buy here} so much, that I decided to rock them myself. I paired them with a thrifted Banana Republic v-neck and pumps from Target. And my friend and awesome model Metanoya {check out her site Globetrotting Stiletto} closed out the segment in a head turning H&M dress.
I had an amazing time at Today and look forward to going back.
