Thrifty Threads – Wardrobe Remix

It’s so easy to wear the same clothing combination over and over but I love shopping my closet to create a “new” look. Finding a fresh way to wear your same old pieces is simple and easy on your wallet.

I’ve worn my plaid heels, fur vest and mini dress before {as you can see above}, but I’ve never worn them together…until now!

I absolutely love this look. It’s fun, flirty and just my style.

{i didn’t want to be too matchy matchy, but the gray in the tights and vest compliment the heels}

{minimal accessories}

Tip:

Don’t be afraid to wear your favorite clothing and accessories in a new way. Maybe you’ve worn your LBD a million times before but next time, try rocking it with a shirt over or under it or add a scarf. A new combo can make all the difference.

Breakdown:
Vest: thrifted for $10
Dress: Strawberry, $12
Tights: Strawberry, $5
Shoes: Charlotte Russe, thrifted for $7
Bracelet: courtesy of My Roommates Kloset
Ring: flea market, $5

Week 24 of my Thrifty Threads 365 challenge (a full year where I only buy second-hand clothing) is down. Only 28 more weeks to go!

  1. Gorgeous…it just gave me some inspiration for my fur vest I scored at the recent Housing Wares thrift event with you and the other bloggers! Super cute! And I love opaque tights with skirts/shorts reminds me of school days
