Thrifty Threads – Santa Monica

Last week I showed you the head-to-toe thrifted outfit I wore for a taping of the Oprah show but I went for a more casual look for my last day on the west coast. We wanted to soak up as much sun as possible so we spent the day chowing down {In-N-Out, Lala’s, Porto’s Bakery} thrift shopping and of course we had to head to Santa Monica. I knew we’d be out all day so I went for a look that could easily transform from casual to a bit more dressy with a quick shoe change.

{of course I had a pair of flats in my oversized bag}

{sheer wrap top with a tee underneath for more coverage}

{later i took the stilettos off and rolled up my jeans to frolick on the beach}

Breakdown:
Jacket: Theory, thrifted for $1 from the Goodwill Outlet
Wrap top: thrifted for $1
White shirt: thrifted for $1
Earrings: courtesy of My Roommates Kloset
Jeans: Forever 21, $12
Shoes: courtesy of Spring Shoes
Flats: Target, $15
Bag: Urban Outfitters, $30

Week 27 of my Thrifty Threads 365 challenge (a full year where I only buy second-hand clothing) is down. Only 25 more weeks to go!
