Thrifty Threads – Mod Squad

I love a little black dress and I love dresses with cute details so I was happy when I found this frock at the Salvation Army a few months ago. The oversized collar, cinched waist and flared bottom have a bit of a mod/70ish feel.

I’m clearly in love with how wide the dress fans out.

I kept the accessories pretty minimal with two of my favorite bracelets and the super cute elephant ring I scored while thrift shopping in Los Angeles. The box-shaped purse compliments the retro style of the dress, but it’s actually my cousin’s purse from the 90s.

Breakdown:
Dress, Heels, Ring, Gold Bracelet: thrifted // Coral Bracelet: vendor in Belize // Purse: gift

Week 48 of my Thrifty Threads 365 challenge {a full year where I only buy second-hand clothing} is down. Only 4 more weeks to go!
