Thrifty Threads – Lace Meets Tribal

A few weekends ago I made my way to the epic Rock the Bells concert with my new concert BFF Danielle of The Style & Beauty Doctor (seriously, her beauty advice keeps me from looking like a two-tone tranny clown) but I had a major dilemma of what to wear. The 12-hour outdoor concert meant I had to dress for comfort and the changing temps. But me being me, my primary concern was looking cute!

I’m currently obsessed with lace so I opted for a tank from Express and the tribal print tube dress I had altered early this summer. I layered the tank over the dress and added my favorite belt. I made sure to throw a light weight cardigan in my purse in case it got chilly, which it didn’t.

Breakdown:
Dress: Thrifted for $1
Belt: Thrifted for 50¢
Tank: Express, thrifted for 50¢
Earrings: Flea Market, $5
Bracelets: gifted
Sandals: Strawberry, $7

Week one of my Thrifty Threads 365 challenge (a full year where I buy only second-hand clothing) is down, only 51 more weeks to go!

Love this. I wish my outfits were as creative and colorful as yours. Somehow I always end up in brown and black.
