Thrifty Threads

Last weekend was crazy hot on the east coast so I wanted a look that was casual (i.e. nothing clingy) but of course, still cute.

I don’t think I’ve ever worn cargo pants (I’m more of a skinny jeans kinda gal), but I was determined to work them in my wardrobe somehow. Pairing the cargos with a feminine top kept the outfit from being a little too rugged. I rolled the hem up and threw on some platform pumps to complete the look. It’s definitely something different for me but I’d wear this to a concert or even a cookout (I’d just swap out the pumps for an embellished sandal).

Breakdown:
Tank top: C&C California, thrifted for $1
Sheer top: Odille, thrifted for $1
Earrings: flea market, $5
Pants: North Face, free via the Pop-Up Swap
Shoes: Charlotte Russe, $10
