I’m starting a new feature on the blog and my YouTube channel called Thrift Store Treasures where I show you guys my favorite thrifted finds, offer up a little back story on how I scored it and a tip that you may find helpful on your next thrift shopping excursion.

This week I’m showcasing a cocktail dress I found at the Housing Works $20 All You Can Stuff sale. I immediately fell in love with the sweetheart neckline and intricate peacock detail.

Check out the quick video below for a closer look at this awesome frock as well as a tip I think everyone should follow when thrifting.

  1. I am sooo excited about your upcoming feature. I can’t wait to visit NY and map out places to go thrifting. I love to hit up at least one thrift spot in every city/state that I visit. I’m super exited to go today since I haven’t been all year 🙁

    • Awesome, let me know if you find any amazing things (or I’ll just see for myself on YouTube). I also love hitting up thrift stores in every city I visit.

  3. What a gorgeous dress. A true testament to thrifting- a bargain and something no one else is going to be wearing. I also completely agree about what you said about being nice to others. If you find that perfect something that isn’t your size, why not spread the thrift karma?
